What are Camp Cards:
Camp Cards are our annual fund raiser that helps us go to scouting events, such as our summer camp. Each year the Atlanta Area Council comes out with a new camp card with a ton of savings for you and an opportunity to help scouts experience scouting. Each card is $10 and on it are multiple coupons that you can use to save more than the cost of the card.
What are the dropdown options:
Each scout in the troop is assigned their own number. This links your purchase to the scout so they get credit for their hard work. You should have been given this number with this link. Select the scout and then choose the qty of cards that you would like to purchase. You may purchase up to 25 cards per transactions.
Do I have to have Paypal or Venmo to buy:
No you do not need to have a Paypal account or Venmo to purchase. If you click on the "Pay with PayPal" button there will be an option at the bottom that says "Pay with Debit or Credit Card". Click on this if you do not have a PayPal account and it will prompt you for your Credit Card Info. It will offer by default to "Create Account & Continue" but you can click on "Continue as Guest" and not have to create a PayPal account.
Is it safe to enter my card info on this site:
When you click on the buttons to pay it will take you to PayPals site to process and capture the payment information. At no time is any of this information stored or used by ChambleeScouting.Org. PayPal is PCI complient and uses end-to-end encryption to keep your information safe. Visit PayPal for more information.
Are there other payment options:
Yes, you can also pay with cash or check. Scouts do not carry cash to make change so please provide exact amount. If paying by check please make the check out to "Troop 268"
